The Screwfix Foundation

We are grateful to The Screwfix Foundation for their generous contribution towards the development of our sensory room at the Our Special Angels SEND CIC Hub. This funding has helped us create a specialist sensory environment where children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) can feel safe, supported, and engaged. The sensory room provides opportunities for sensory exploration, emotional regulation, relaxation, communication, and learning, helping to improve wellbeing and quality of life for the families we support. As a community-led organisation, partnerships like this enable us to continue expanding accessible services and creating inclusive spaces for local SEND families. We would like to thank The Screwfix Foundation for helping us bring this important project to life.

Parent Coffee Mornings

Parent Coffee Mornings

Our regular coffee mornings provide opportunities for parents and carers to meet other SEND families, share experiences and build supportive friendships.

These sessions help reduce isolation and strengthen community connections.

Key features:

We believe support should not stop at childhood and should not focus solely on the child.

We believe support should extend to the whole family.

Our long-term ambition is to create a dedicated SEND Family Hub supporting children, young people, adults with SEND, parents, carers, siblings and young carers.

A place where families can access support, opportunities and community throughout every stage of their journey.
